For the past few years, I’ve collaborated with friends and colleagues Michael Thomas Hill and Ross Rudesch Harley, making improvised experimental electronic music with various devices – modular, analogue and otherwise. We call ourselves CHORDATA.
2023
Curator Liane Rossler invited CHORDATA to participate in her show Natural Wonder as part of Vivid Sydney at the Powerhouse Museum, Ultimo. For the one-night event, we presented Chlorophyllharmonia, a three-hour improvised listening experience accompanied by three new high-res video projections. We performed the event in a multi-projector space used by day for interactive science teaching.
2022
In October 2022, we performed a series of three evening concerts at the independent gallery Duckrabbit, each an improvised hour-long sonic immersion accompanied by three independently made videos projected in the gallery.
